Austin Pathology is looking for an applicant in Shepparton or Surrounds to undertake a 3 month paid Pathology Collection Traineeship.

**Full Time (38hrs P/W) over a 3 month period. Potential casual relief work may be available upon successful completion of the certificate III course.**

We are looking for an enthisiastic person who is interested in developing a career with Austin Pathology to undertake a Certificate III in Pathology collection.

**The successful applicant must have**:

- **A Kind, Empathetic nature**
- **Attention to detail**
- **Excellent customer service skills**
- **Have a strong desire to work within the health field**
- **Ability to work on roster once qualified, including weekends**
- **Moderate Computer skills/Access to own computer**

**About the role**

We are seeking an individual who is highly motivated to become part of a passionate and engaged team. You will learn key technical skills of phlebotomy and responsibilities including, but not be limited to, the following:

- Collect samples (blood and non-blood) with care and attention
- Keep meticulous records for every patient and sample
- Prepare and package specimens for transport and testing
