**The Service**

**KU Ultimo Children’s Centre **, **located in Sydney's CBD within walking distance from all public transport, **is a long day care service where children learn through play, and are inspired to continue learning through specialised experiences based upon their interests and motivations.

Rated Exceeding the National Quality Standard, KU Ultimo has a special interest in the Resources for Infant Educarers (RIE) Approach, which is an inspired teaching practice for children aged 0-3 years.

**The Role**

KU Ultimo are looking for an experienced, motivated, and passionate educator with a **completed **diploma qualification to join their team.

**On offer is a permanent part time position working 8 hours per day, 2 days per week; Thursday & Friday (16 hours per week).**

**To be considered for this role, it is essential you have**:

- A recognised Diploma level of qualification in Children’s Services or similar as approved by Australian Children’s Education and Quality Authority (ACECQA)
- A valid NSW Employee Working with Children Check
- Child Protection training and knowledge of current legislation and its implications for the care and protection of children
- A current First Aid certificate with separate Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management training
- Sound understanding of the NQF, EYLF, Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)
