**The Opportunity**:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a trade qualified Fitter in the remanufacturing department at our Fairfield Branch. Reporting to the Reman Production Manager, the purpose of the role is to complete the strip, inspection, assembly and testing of a large range of Komatsu mining machinery components that complies with our optimum quality standards.

Duties will include performance testing of components whilst ensuring compliance with SWP guidelines and our customer’s requirements. The role plays an integral part in ensuring high levels of safety, quality and efficiency are given to the Fairfield Reman Department.

**Your Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:

- Relevant Trade Certificate (HD Diesel Fitter or Mechanical Fitter or Fitter/Machinist).
- Post apprenticeship experience, working to OEM guidelines and requirements.
- Extensive trade experience with Komatsu earth moving equipment, in particular equipment assembly, performance testing and commissioning.
- Current Driver’s Licence, High Risk LF-Forklift, Overhead Gantry Crane License, and First Aid.
- Ability to follow required job scope & critical path.
- Safety focused mindset is paramount.
- Good understanding of computer systems and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work unsupervised.
