We are looking to hire an enthusiastic apprentice glazier to learn the ropes of what it takes to be a qualified Glazier undertaking supervised and supported tasks such as measure, cut, and install glass fittings in both residential and commercial settings. A glazier’s responsibilities include working with supplied plans to cut glass to specifications, assembling and fitting glass in aluminum windows, doors, shower screens, mirrors and more We will work with you to develop your skills and expertise in this area to ensure your success in the industry

To be successful as an apprentice glazier, you should have an eager drive to gain knowledge of the glass manufacturing and cutting process, have good eye-hand coordination, be able to lift heavy objects, and have excellent communication skills. Ultimately, a top-notch glazier provides a positive customer experience while constantly meeting high professional standards and we are happy to help you to develop these skills as a tradesperson. At Tucks Windows, we pride ourselves on quality workmanship and expect this from all facets of our business and operations.

Vehicle (dependent on age and licensing) whilst at work is provided for all travel required for the position. Tools provided whilst at work.

Whilst this position is initially casual (full time hours), there is the opportunity for full time arrangements.
