**About the Role - IT Helpdesk Officer**
The hourly rate for this position will be $25.41 per hour.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Respond to helpdesk requests and log details in the incident management system.
- Investigate and resolve computer issues for users.
- Deploy new computers and phones following established Work Instructions.
- Provide support for end-user devices, including laptops, desktops, mobile phones, tablets, printers/photocopiers, projectors, and AV equipment.
- Administer the IT asset management system, ensuring assets are assigned correctly.

**What we're looking for**:
- Completed or enrolled in a Diploma or Certificate IV in Information Technology or related discipline, or relevant industry experience.
- An interest in technology and a passion for working with computers.
- Ability to follow written procedures and work instructions.
- Strong written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to build positive and productive working relationships with people at all levels.
- Experience providing IT support in a business, education, or other formal environment (desirable).
- Experience using a formal helpdesk ticketing system (desirable).
- Understanding of ITIL principles (desirable).
