**The Role**

In this role you will be required to assist with a range of general labouring and maintenance duties associated with the operation and monitoring of Council’s wastewater infrastructure to ensure regulatory compliance and customer service standards are delivered to our community.

**Essential Criteria**
- Experience working in an operational, maintenance or construction environment, including plumbing, fitting, or mechanical maintenance
- Effective communications skills and the ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
- SafeWork WHS Construction Induction Certification
- MR Licence or willingness to obtain within first six months of employment at your own expense

**The Rewards**

The wage is adjusted depending on the attainment of relevant licences and qualifications. Positions commence at a Wastewater Operator Grade 6, with a salary range of $1035.76 up to $1159.40 per week. Relevant technical training will be provided to allow progression to a Wastewater Operator Grade 9, with a salary range commencing from $1167.98 per week.

In addition, you will be paid an Adverse Working Conditions allowance of $44.20 per week + Super. The role will also require you to participate in the on-call and weekend roster which is paid in addition to the compensated wage.
