St Hurmizd Assyrian Primary School is an independent, Kindergarten to Year 6 co-educational Christian school located in Southwestern Sydney.

We are excited to announce an opportunity for four experienced Grade Leaders with a 2-point Coordinator allowance and a 0.8 Teaching load to join our dynamic team.

As a Grade Leader, we anticipate you will have considerable experience at a particular Grade level with an understanding of the learning needs of the students at that level.

This role is crucial in fostering a collaborative and nurturing environment and enhancing the educational experience for our Kindergarten to Year 6 students.

These roles will commence at the start of the 2025 school year and are permanent full-time.

**Essential criteria**:

- Demonstrate a strong ability to lead and mentor a team of teachers, fostering professional growth and collaboration.
- Coordinate and manage the implementation of the 2 Point Curriculum effectively, ensuring all staff are aligned with our teaching objectives.
- Develop innovative lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs and align with our Christian educational values.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with students, parents, and staff in a supportive and constructive manner.
- Monitor and assess student progress, using data to inform instructional strategies and interventions.
- A commitment to creating an inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and supported is essential.
- Actively participate in and contribute to the school's extracurricular activities and community events, reinforcing our mission and values.

**Applicants must hold**:

- Tertiary Qualification in Education
- NESA accredited to teach in NSW; Proficient level
- A current, valid NSW Working with Children Check

Salaries are based on the Independent Schools NSW Teachers (Hybrid Model) Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2021 ranging from **$85,980 to $126,540 **(this range is above the Agreed rate) **+ 2 point Coordinator allowance of $19,141 per annum.**
