**Position**:Metal Fabricator

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Analyze blueprints, drawings, and detailed specifications to accurately gauge project requirements and timelines.
- Select and prepare the appropriate metal stocks, ensuring materials are ready for fabrication and conform to design specifications.
- Expertly handle metal shaping and cutting tasks using both manual tools and advanced machinery, including flame cutting torches and metal cutting devices.
- Skillfully bend and shape metal sections and pipes, employing both machinery and manual tools, supplemented by precise heating and hammering techniques to achieve desired forms.
- Ensure alignment of components for assembly using precise measurement tools and manual adjustments.
- Execute metal joining tasks using advanced welding, bolting, and riveting techniques, ensuring structural integrity and aesthetic quality of joins.
- Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet design specifications, strength requirements, and visual standards.
- Perform finishing operations on welds, including filing, chiselling, and grinding to achieve smooth, clean results.

**Required Qualifications**:

- At least 2 years of experience in metal fabrication.
- AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma in a relevant technical field.

**What We Offer**:

- **Salary**: $70,000 - $80,000 plus superannuation annually
- **Employment Type**: Full-time (38 hours per week)

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
