What does the job look like?

An exciting opportunity exists to join our Resource and Industrial team as a Dispatch Coordinator. Reporting to the Scheduling Manager, you will be responsible for the supervision and in-shift management for the Bulk Fuels operation (VIC, NSW & QLD). You will be required to ensure the current and following schedule is optimised, resulting in reduced unproductive time. You will be required to work a rotating day/night shift roster from 6 till 6. Key areas:

- Ensuring that the Linfox LIFT Values are part of the operational culture and all decisions and actions
- Monitoring of in shift activity to ensure schedules are being executed as planned, and intervene where resources are running behind
- Strong stakeholder engagement

This role will suit a strong individual with a true understanding of transport management and planning. You are passionate about driving outcomes and building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders. You can demonstrate:

- Robust knowledge of Transport and Logistics with experience in a similar role
- Understanding of Dangerous Goods and NHVR regulations would be advantageous
- An organised and systematic approach to work, with high attention to detail
- Highly developed negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent MS Office knowledge with exposure to transport scheduling systems
