WISE Employment is seeking driven, solution-oriented **Intranet Manager** to overseeing the day-to-day operation and management of our brand new SharePoint based intranet; **WISE Central**. This includes maintaining overall quality control on content and design, leading a community of content authors, as well as implementing policies and standards to ensure effective and engaging intranet content that meets the needs of all users.

The Intranet Manager will also be responsible for driving engagement across the organisation, encouraging adoption of WISE Central as a key business resource, as well as the provision of insightful reporting to key stakeholders that helps evaluate its performance against KPIs. This role will also drive the future development of WISE Central ensuring it continues to evolve and improve over time.

This role is is a **H**ybrid/North Melbourne** based role.

**To be considered, you must**:

- Have a minimum of 3 years of experience managing and implementing intranets for large organisations i.e. 1,000+ employees
- Have full Australian working rights
- Hold a full Australian driver’s license
- Be willing to obtain a National Police Check
- Be able to pass a Working with Children Check

- Have a strong understanding of the principles of Usability and User Experience
- Have a strong understanding of the principles of Information Architecture design for intranets

**A day in the role involves**
- Taking full ownership for WISE Central to ensure the provision of a world class intranet that fulfils
business needs and ensures a reliable and consistent user experience for staff.
- Responsibility for editorial control and user permissions to ensure they are in line with the governance framework.
- Leading a community of content authors (and champions), coordinating the efforts of this group and encouraging a collaborative and consistent approach.
- Providing coaching and feedback to content authors ensuring they have the knowledge, tools and skillsets required for their roles and to bring continuous improvement in content quality and compliance.
- Providing necessary training to new content authors and users to ensure proficiency across all user groups.
- Partnering with Operational Governance and UX, monitor usability and compliance with the intranet guidelines and standards and provide recommendations for revisions or updates to drive continuous improvement.
- Developing and owning a rolling roadmap for future optimisation and development
- Co-ordinate and be responsible for ensuring the quarterly content, security and compliance audit occurs, consolidate the audit and include in quarterly packs for the Governance Committee.
- Working closely with key stakeholders to understand their needs and involve them in planning and problem solving (including Marketing & Communications, UX, IS, PCC, Governance, frontline teams, as well as executives and administrative staff).
- Building relationships with and gain the buy-in of stakeholders at all levels and actively manage communications with key stakeholders and user groups as it relates to WISE Central.
- Monitoring intranet usage using a range of analytics and user research to provide insightful reporting to key stakeholders, including Marketing & Comms and the Governance Committee. This will help evaluate the effectiveness of WISE Central and identify opportunities for improvement, along with measuring alignment to our strategic organisational goals and defined KPIs
- Working with IS and other relevant stakeholders to define priorities for requests for new functionality and tools.
- Maintaining a good understanding of industry best practice and new technological opportunities that can add business value to WISE Central
