**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
**Summary of the role**:The initial focus of the Manager Older Adults is establishment of a new Older Adult Community Mental Health Service and once established, the role will focus upon the ‘day to day’ operational management of the team.
- Permanent full-time employment or 0.8 part-time can be considered
- Ability to work across Mercy Health campuses located in South West Metro Area (serving Hobsons Bay & Wyndham LGAs)
- Develop, manage and provide clincial and operational leadership for Older Adult Mental Health and Wellbeing Service team members
- Contribute to improvement initiatives and co-lead Older Adult planning and development
- Be part of a multi-disciplinary team which requires you to provide highly responsive and flexible services to clients, families, carers and other supporters

**ABOUT US**:
Mercy Mental Health & Wellbeing Services (South West Area Mental Health Service) is a public mental health service supporting people in south west metropolitan Melbourne with severe and complex mental illnesses by providing acute and community-based care. Services are available to adults through acute inpatient programs, residential rehabilitation programs and crisis and community recovery-focused treatment programs and from 1 July 2023, we will become an Older Adults Mental Health service provider. We also deliver inpatient and community specialist perinatal mental health services to women and infants in western Victoria.
