**Position Overview**:
In the role of Toddler Room Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing attentive care to our toddlers and supporting a team of dedicated educators. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure a safe, engaging, and enriching environment for the children in your care. Your nurturing qualities and enthusiasm for early childhood education will significantly contribute to the success of our center.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in providing a safe and nurturing environment for toddlers.
- Collaborate with a team of early childhood educators to create age-appropriate activities and programs.
- Support staff in their professional development and contribute to the overall well-being of the children.
- Maintain effective communication with parents and families, addressing their concerns and inquiries.
- Regularly observe and document children's progress and individualized goals.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance learning experiences with appropriate resources and materials.
- Stay updated on best practices in early childhood education and engage in professional development opportunities.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- A recognized qualification in Early Childhood Education, with a minimum of a Certificate III.
- Prior experience as an early childhood educator is a plus.
- Profound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A nurturing and enthusiastic approach to working with children.
- Effective time management and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification (or a willingness to obtain).

**Salary**: $36.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
