Groundsman

**Part-Time Private Groundsman**

Cremorne Point

20-25 hours per week

Competitive hourly rate commensurate with experience.

**Responsibilities**:

- Regularly maintain the garden across all four levels, including but not limited to lawn care, weeding, pruning, and watering plants.
- Assist in landscaping projects as needed, including planting new flowers, shrubs, and trees, as well as maintaining existing landscaping features.
- Perform various handyman tasks related to garden maintenance, such as repairing fences, pathways, and garden structures.
- Ensure all gardening and maintenance equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition.
- Prepare the garden for different seasons, including winterizing plants and protecting them from frost, as well as spring cleaning and preparing for new growth.
- Monitor the garden for pests and diseases, and implement appropriate control measures as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of garden maintenance activities, including planting schedules, maintenance tasks performed, and inventory of gardening supplies.
- Detailing the property. Keeping hard surfaces clean. Removing cobwebs from exterior of house and garage.
- Keeping the garage and bins
- tidy and swept.
- Arranging regular gutter cleaning and extra garden services (trimming of tall hedges, etc)

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in gardening and garden maintenance is required.
- Proficiency in basic handyman tasks such as carpentry, plumbing, and electrical repairs is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and a meticulous approach to garden maintenance is essential.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A genuine passion for gardening and a desire to create and maintain beautiful outdoor spaces.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules as needed.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 25 per week

**Experience**:

- Gardening: 5 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Police check (preferred)
