As a Procurement Specialist you will provide the critical link to support the needs of both the procurement category teams and the local factory/business. Contributing to and supporting the development and implementation of sourcing strategies, with a focus on ingredients and packaging categories.
You will have the opportunity to work cross functionally to identify and translate factory and business insights into solutions driving optimal outcomes in sourcing, systems and factory operations for Nestle Oceania. Reporting to the Procurement Business Partner, this role provides a broad insight into the procurement function, while helping to manage commercial risk and drive excellence in the supply base. **This is a 12-month contract opportunity.**
**A day in the life**
Reporting to the Procurement Business Partner, you will be responsible to:
- Support the factories, team, and business with all aspects of supply. Understand factory needs / insights / local constraints & regulation.
- Ensure the timely and accurate availability of contracts so that factories can order materials for production using the SAP system and associated processes.
- Contribute to the development of relevant sourcing strategies at both factory and business levels and showcase the significant value that procurement delivers to the business.
- Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive process and service improvement.
- Provide procurement insights to support cost management and provide timely visibility in relation to risk and opportunity.

- Experience in stakeholder and supplier management, influencing and interpersonal skills
- You are a problem solver, strong in process and implementing sustainable solutions to address issues
- You will need strong commercial acumen
- Understanding of risk management and analyses
