**About The Role**:
We are currently seeking an experienced Facade Manager to join our team. Whilst you will initially be based on our iconic Waterfront Redevelopment project, this is a long term career opportunity with John Holland.

The Primary purpose of this role is to assist with design development, preconstruction phase, and construction phase for the Waterfront project whilst ensuring alignment with the inhouse best practice and provide technical support to the wider John Holland Business.
- Arrange and oversee the letting of tenders and tender reviews to appropriately located and priced contractors and fabricators
- Identify design and materials risk proposed by contractors whilst working towards value management items
- Review and address buildability of proposed methodology for façade design and installation
- Demonstrate commercial acumen when reviewing contract agreements and scope as well as coordinating consultancy fees and pricing
- Assign work and assist with reviews for accuracy and adherence to required standards and scope
- Execute working knowledge of contracts, design, and delivery methodology relevant to the project
- Coordinate and administer activities to ensure that projects are implemented in accordance with plans, designs and specifications, ensuring full coordination between all parties
- Undertake ongoing evaluation and investigation of design processes, fabrication of materials and installation to ensure acceptable quality of façade installation occurs
- Analyse and use document and record management, progress and project performance reporting compliance reporting to ensure appropriate completion of work
- Demonstrate sound people management skills by managing work and performance of subcontractors to achieve outcomes, ensuring that clear communication between all parties occurs
- Utilise effective time management skills including sequencing of work of own and resource time management
- Provide technical support and direction for any façade changes, issues during installation, or any other issue that may occur on the project
- Perform all duties in accordance with John Holland policies, processes, systems, reporting and procedures

**About You**:

- Be degree qualified in Engineering, Science, Building Construction or equivalent
- Experience in Project Engineer and operations
- Posess knowledge of project management structure, plans, specification, standards and implications for project accountabilities
- Have an understanding of the Project Design Management Plan, Quality Management Plan. Safety Management Plan and Environmental Management Plan
- Pre-contracts knowledge in relation to design, planning and legislative requirements
