**About the Role**:
The Special Education Resource Unit (SERU) is a specialist statewide operational unit within the Inclusive Teaching and Learning Directorate which provides specialist services and advice to support sites to be more inclusive of children and students with disabilities and learning difficulties.

The Storeperson Inclusive Resources, based at SERU, is responsible for the Access Equipment provision to learners with disability in department sites and programs.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Manage effective and efficient equipment storage solutions and coordinate the preparation for dispatch to sites and liaising with suppliers about deliveries and discrepancies in stock
- Manage and coordinate the safe disposal of equipment and keep details records of shortages and spare items.
- Develop and coordinate systems and routines to ensure equipment is maintained, clean and delivered in good working order
- Manage minor repairs, assembly, electrical testing and troubleshooting of equipment

**Qualifications**:
**Desirable**: Experience in disability equipment provision.

**Special Conditions**:
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN -EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

**Remuneration**:
GSE3 $1,089.00 - $1,100.60 per week (1.0 FTE), plus superannuation.
