At NALHN Everyone Has a Story, Everyone Matters, Everyone Contributes and Everyone Grows. Consistent with our values we are seeking values based Exercise Physiologists to join our highly skilled Aged Care, Rehabilitation & Palliative Care Division on the Casual Pool.

The incumbent participates as a team member within the NALHN Aged Care, Rehabilitation & Palliative Care Division, ensuring optimal care and outcomes, by providing a comprehensive range of Exercise Physiology services to a variety of clients, across various settings including inpatient and community.

The successful applicant applies clinical experience, knowledge and professional competence to plan, implement and evaluate a comprehensive and integrated range of services appropriate to the needs of the Division. This is achieved by working in collaboration with other members of the interdisciplinary team, to effectively plan and provide therapeutic interventions based on patient goals.

At **AHP1 classification** you will work under direct supervision and may provide and support allied health assistants and students. In this role you will seek guidance and supervision from experienced staff when more complex problem solving, professional decision making and practice skills are required.

At **AHP2 classification** you will work under limited direct supervision clinical supervision and may provide direction and support to less experience therapists, allied health assistants and students. You will manage non-routine clinical situations when more complex problem solving, professional decision making and practice skills are required.

To be eligible for this position, you must hold an appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification, usually in human movements, inclusive of the exercise physiology elective and eligible for accreditation from Exercise Sports Science Australia (ESSA).
