Bay & Basin Leisure Centre Coordinator

Salary: $68,492 - $76,987 p.a. plus 10.5% Super

**About the role**
This is a
**6-month**,
**fixed term, full-time** position working
**38 hours** per week. This position is based at
**Bay & Basin Leisure Centre**.

**Duties**
Reporting directly to the Central Leisure Manager, the focus of this position is to:

- Manages the budget for the Bay and Basin Leisure Centre, Huskisson Sea Pool in conjunction with Central Leisure Manager
- Supports & coordinates the Bay & Basin Leisure Centre team to enable Council to function at an optimal level
- Exhibits leadership behaviours by showing initiative, taking responsibility for self and group actions and referring issues of ethics and probity
- Supports continuous improvement by identifying improvements to processes and practices and supporting change
- Approaches problem solving by analysing information from various sources
- Reports to the Central Leisure Manager on areas of functional responsibility making professional recommendations for the Central Leisure Manager’s consideration

**Skills & Experience**
In order to be successful in the position, you will be/ possess:

- Certificate IV Community Recreation (or equivalent)
- Class C Drivers Licence
- Current Senior First Aid Certificate
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certificate
- Proof of Australian residency or citizenship
- Previous management experience in the Aquatic or Leisure Industry
- Proof of Australian residency or citizenship, or authority to work in Australia (visa)
