**About the Role**:
We’re looking for a hands-on **QC & Workshop Assistant** to join our Manufacturing team in Brisbane. In this role, you’ll be responsible for checking the quality of metal components, keeping the workshop organised, handling deliveries, managing stock, and looking for ways to improve how things are done. Above all, you’ll help us maintain the highest safety and quality standards.

**What You’ll Do**:

- ** Safety, Environmental, and Quality Compliance**: Follow all safety and environmental guidelines to keep the workplace safe and efficient.
- ** Quality Control**: Inspect metal components and kits to make sure everything is up to standard before it leaves the workshop.
- ** Deliveries**: Ensure timely and safe deliveries to local sites and the Assembly facility, and keep everyone updated if there are any delays.
- ** Warehouse & Workshop Organisation**: Keep the workshop and warehouse clean and organised, assist with unloading containers, and make sure everything is easy to find and access.
- ** Inventory Management**: Keep track of stock levels, help with stocktakes and cycle counts, and record everything accurately in our system (Cin7).
- ** Process Improvement**: Follow existing processes and suggest ways to make things run more smoothly.
- ** Record Keeping**: Keep accurate records of quality inspections, deliveries, and stock levels.
- ** Equipment Operation & Heavy Lifting**: Safely operate equipment like forklifts (licence required) and perform heavy lifting as required.

**Hours of Work**:

- ** Monday to Thursday**: 5.30am - 2.45pm
- ** Friday**: 5.30am - 11.30am
- ** Enjoy every second Friday off for a long weekend**:

- ** Flexibility Required**:Standard hours apply; however, shifts may occasionally adjust to meet business needs, including stocktake periods.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Previous experience in a workshop or fabrication environment is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of quality control and metal fabrication.
- A current driver’s licence and forklift licence.
- Comfortable using inventory systems like Cin7 (or willing to learn).
- Strong organisational skills and good communication.
- Ability to lift up to 20kg and handle physical tasks.
- A proactive team player who takes pride in getting things right.
