**Responsibilities**:
- Conduct pre-commissioning inspections and tests on generator systems to verify compliance with design specifications.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop commissioning plans and procedures for generator installations.
- Perform functional testing and troubleshooting of electrical components, controls, and protection systems.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely completion of commissioning activities.
- Generate commissioning reports and documentation detailing test results, deviations, and corrective actions.
- Provide technical support to project managers and clients during the commissioning phase.
- Participate in site meetings and inspections to address technical issues and ensure quality standards are met.
**Requirements**:
- Diploma in Engineering Technology (Electrical) or related field experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with MTU 2000/4000 Series /CAT 3500 Series/Cummins QSK50/60, HSK78G Series generator sets and balance of the plant equipment.
- Strong Mechanical aptitude and good understanding of engine controls.
- Proven experience in commissioning generator systems, preferably in a power generation or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of generator controls, protection relays, and synchronization systems (CAT EMCP, ComAp, DEIF, DSE, Woodward)
- Proficiency in interpreting electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Familiarity with testing equipment and procedures for generator commissioning, testing and fault finding.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
**Desirable**:
- Experience with High Voltage power generation equipment and systems.
- Forklift or other relevant machinery licenses.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.

This is a fulltime position with a salary range of $ 70,000 to $ 80,000 p.a+ Super (Based on experience)
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
