Human Resources enables the University to implement and deliver its People & Culture strategy to make the University a remarkable place to work, attracting and retaining word-class staff from diverse backgrounds who want to build careers, drive change, provide leadership an create opportunities at an institution renowned for its excellence.

The HR Business Partnering team consists of highly skilled HR practitioners who support an overall workforce of 3,700 FTE. The team have worked hard in building credibility as strategic and valued partners to the senior leadership team, and as a result have a seat at the table.

**About the opportunity**
- Lead a small team of HR practitioners to assist with the professional execution of HR Business Partnering Services
- Develop influential relationships with senior leaders to deliver strategic and operational people and culture imperatives and targets
- Take a lead role in the design and implementation of key people and culture initiatives specifically organisational change, culture and engagement, performance development and leadership capability
- Coach, develop and support your team to deliver exceptional service and business outcomes

**About you**
- Experienced HR practitioner who is excited to lead others and partner closely with executive / senior leaders on operational and strategic people and culture initiatives
- Confident in working in a high volume, complex matrix environment
- Demonstrated experience in working in complex strategic and operational contexts and the ability to adapt and respond to when required
- Outstanding communication skills, growth mindset, strong customer service ethos and ability to innovate and provide sound judgment will be critical to your success, as is the ability to influence, think creatively and exercise effective judgment in a dynamic environment
- Thrives in working in greenfield contexts and takes pride in building and owning stakeholder relationships
