**How this position will Make the Difference to City of Melbourne**
An exciting opportunity for an Urban Design / Architecture / Landscape Architecture Graduate to work in a multidisciplinary studio environment to deliver projects across Council including, strategies, masterplans, frameworks, design review, streetscape/landscape and public realm projects.
You will support project teams through research, graphics and modelling, use of GIS and report production, and support inventive, best practice and multi-disciplinary approaches to city change. The position will collaborate across the organisation to ensure access to and use of data and propose evidence-based design-led scenarios and propositions, working under the direction of senior staff, to enable the future city, precincts, neighbourhoods and places to be imagined and realised.
**What you will bring(Selection criteria)**
- Progression towards relevant tertiary qualifications
- Initiative, enthusiasm, creativity and the ability and desire to learn new techniques and skills
- Commitment to excellence in customer service and managing stakeholder relations
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-functional project team in a multi-function branch
- An understanding of planning principles and processes, and the role and function of planning schemes
- Ability to synthesise data outputs into meaningful and useful information for use by Urban Strategy
- Ability to work with and brief technical experts to deliver collaborative work eg Smart City Office (City Research).
