The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to foster the development of a lean manufacturing culture in Lenah Valley through hands-on coaching at all levels, guidance on Lean processes, and leadership of the Bega Group’s Excellence operating system. Moreover, this role plays a crucial part in designing and executing manufacturing cost-improvement projects and supporting the implementation of essential capital projects.

Responsibilities- Responsible for leading the design and delivery of manufacturing cost-improvement projects- Accelerates the implementation of core best practices and supports internal capability. Governs the site capability plan.- Providing leadership and coaching to team leaders to establish and maintain Bega Excellence practices and procedures.- Drives and supports a consistent approach to financial and operational performance reporting to achieve the best results.- Enhance and standardise waste management and reporting processes, capabilities, and systems.

About you- Experience in Best Practices and/or continuous improvement in an FMCG environment- Sound knowledge of LEAN manufacturing or Manufacturing Excellence (Six Sigma belt advantageous)- Experience in SAP and a strong financial background are desirable.- Ability to lead, coach, and develop team members, and engage with a variety of stakeholders- Capable of managing change and bringing others along on the journey
