**Who you are**:

- You will have a background in Payroll and Accounts with a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar position.
- Trades industry experience preferred.
- End to end payroll and accounts payable/receivable experience within a medium sized organisation.
- Ability to suggest improvements to processes, systems and procedures.
- Ambitious and happy in a fast paced, ever changing environment.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Experience with payroll and accounts systems XERO and Aroflo.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Prior experience in a stand alone payroll/accounts position.
- Exposure to workcover procedures.

**About the role**:

- This is effectively a stand-alone, end to end payroll/accounts position which allows you to take ownership of the payroll and accounts functions.
- Managing payroll, superannuation, payroll tax, payroll reporting, onboarding, offboarding for new hires, terminations and adjustments.
- Award/EBA interpretation.
- Dealing with payroll queries and complex accounts receivable/payable.
- Managing high volume of accounts receivable/payable using XERO.
- Corporate credit card management across the organisation.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies or billing issues.
- Ongoing meeting involvement with department leads.
- Continually searching for ways to improve processes and procedures with payroll and accounts.

**What you need to do**

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $38.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 38 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
