As our valued QC Coordinator, you will play a vital part in ensuring our Salisbury workshop runs smoothly and uphold our standard of work.

Working within workshop, you’ll enjoy being surrounded by reliable, friendly, hard-working people who have your back and step up for you when you need it most.

You’ll make an impact by:

- Manage assignment of welders in conjunction with production supervisor.
- Manage welding sequences in accordance with WPSs and best work practices.
- Ensure appropriate destructive and non-destructive testing is undertaken as required for procedure testing, welder qualification testing, and production weld testing as required by engineering design and in accordance with code / specification requirements.
- Monitor unique identification and QC records, storage, and handling of consumables in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations.

What you’ll bring
- Working knowledge of weld procedures in structural steel and piping workshop
- Familiarity with AS 5131 CC3 an advantage
- Able to perform QA audits on internal and sub-contractors
- Ability to identify gaps in the weld procedures and create new ones

Ideally, you will also have:

- Cert 10 Welding Supervisor Qualification
- Recognised welding inspector qualifications
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail
- Be able to deal with conflicting priorities in a busy & fast-paced environment
- Be a pro-active team player with strong problem-solving capabilities
