**Trainer Assessor**

As a key member of the Antrick Educations Health Services teaching team you will contribute to the development and delivery of quality learning services.

The role is seeking someone who will ENGAGE, EDUCATE and EMPOWER our students to achieve their desired outcomes.

Avaliable training locations include; Langwarrin and Cranbourne

**START DATE - ASAP**

**Salary**:

- Part time Teacher $48 per hour + bonuses
- ** As part of your employment you will be required to undertake a criminal history check & working with children check_
- ** The successful applicant will be required to register with VIT_

**Mandatory Requirements**:
Vocational competencies at least to the level being delivered and assessed;
- ** Minimum Certificate III or higher-level vocational qualification in the Health or Community Services industry area. Nursing or patient transport._

2. Possession of one of the following training and assessment credentials:

- TAE40116 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment;
- TAE40110 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment plus TAELLN411 Address Adult Language, Literacy and Numeracy Skills and TAEASS502 Design and Develop Assessment Tools;
- TAE50111 - Diploma of Vocational Education and Training;
- TAE50116 - Diploma of Vocational Education and Training; or its successor;
- TAE50211 - Diploma of Training Design and Development;
- TAE50216 - Diploma of Training Design and Development, or its successor;
- Higher-level qualification in adult education (approved by TAFE Queensland).

3. Current industry skills directly relevant to the training and assessment (health and community worker) and current knowledge and skills in vocational training and learning that informs the training and assessment provided;
**professional experience and sound skills with Moodle, Articulate, Wordpress, Wisenet and other social media platforms would be highly regarded.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Deliver effective teaching and learning within classroom, workplace, simulated and online learning environments with a focus on student engagement, progression and success.
- Utilise flexible, blended and inclusive learning techniques, options and products which are responsive to various student cohorts, including commencing students and those with priority needs.
- Develop and implement assessment processes and tools that meet industry skills standards and participate in validation and moderation activities relating to assessment processes and practices.
- Develop effective working relationships with students, client groups and staff by participating in team meetings, industry reference groups, student events and forums, inviting feedback and engaging in reflection.
- Ensure that students adopt and practice accepted safety procedures and sustainability in the learning and assessment environment.
- Participate in relevant professional learning activities to develop and maintain currency of personal and professional skills, knowledge and attitudes for both industry and learning, teaching and assessment.
- Undertake general administration duties including monitoring of student attendance and progression, facilitating access to educational support and providing effective feedback and advice.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Part-time hours: 4 per week

**Salary**: $28.70 - $67.06 per hour
