Organisational Support Officer, Government House
The Office of the Governor is seeking a highly motivated Organisational Support Officer to provide a broad range of operational and administrative support to the organisation. Note - this position is Casual.

**The Role**:
In this key role you will provide an initial interface with VIPs, guests and members of the public, and assist with administrative and IT functions, procurement and stocktaking, driving duties and the management of the vehicle-fleet and Garage.
A focus on safety, best practice and efficiency is required.
As part of the Facilities and Operations team you will be expected to have an impeccable reputation and presentation, a versatile skill set with excellent administrative and customer service skills and a passion for exceptional service delivery outcomes.

**The Person**:
Primarily you will have a professional attitude which aligns with the Office of the Governor values. It is essential that you possess a current Queensland Driver License with no impediments and are able to work non-standard hours in a 7-day roster.

**You will also bring**:

- Demonstrated high levels of effective interpersonal and written communication skills, including the ability to interact with visitors, VIPs and members of the public;
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a team member to enhance service delivery to an organisation that requires flexibility, integrity, discretion and cooperation;
- Sound computer literacy and information management skills, basic IT equipment fault finding and the ability and willingness to undertake administrative duties as directed;
- Demonstrated experience in the provision of driving services, and supporting vehicle fleet management;
- Knowledge of, and commitment to, Workplace Health and Safety and safe work practices and routines; and
- Advanced and/or defensive driving qualifications and a First Aid Certificate are highly desirable.
