Position Summary
The Bell Desk Supervisor assists the Front Office Management in the smooth and efficient operation of the Bell Desk division, ensuring maximum guest satisfaction and adhering to the standard required by the hotel. Assists in the on-boarding, training and development of all Bell Attendants and provides oversight of the daily operations of the Bell Desk.
The Role
Ensures that all company brand standards are implemented and in place regarding Bell Desk
Directs incoming guests to the check in area whilst offering to handle any luggage the guest happens to be carrying.
Ensures a prompt and accurate delivery of guest's luggage 24 hours a day in line with Brand Standards
Assist all guests with luggage storage, ensuring the proper handling, storage, security and procedures are followed.
Ensures vehicle's license number, type are logged down on the "Car park control" sheet for future reference and all valet parking tickets are filled out correctly.
Handle and track all incoming packages for guests and ensures correct and timely delivery
Maintains a tidy lobby and drive way by checking the general cleanliness and tidiness of the sitting area and entrance.
Directs traffic in the hotel's driveway and maintain relationship with external drivers
Maintain taxi rank and ensure that all taxis are parked correctly and following instructions
Books taxis and answers enquiries from guests.
Liaises with the Concierge and Guest Services on all large and VIP group movements, ensuring a smooth handling of check-ins and check-outs.
Meet and welcome all arriving guests, escorting them to reception, ensuring that their needs are satisfied, and that their luggage is swiftly sent to their rooms and their cars parked safely in the hotel's secure garage.
Ensures that colleagues have a complete understanding of and adhere to colleague rules and regulations.
Talent Profile
Experience in a similar role in luxury hotel/resort
Must have full drivers license
Good command in spoken and written English
Valid working rights in Australia
