Project Adviser, International

The International Portfolio is responsible for leading the University’s international growth, engagement and the establishment of new international education and commercial enterprises. It manages the University’s principal international partnerships, and it develops and supports international relationships that: enhance the University’s global reputation; grow international student participation and income; deliver high quality transnational education programs; attract students to the University through international partnerships and pathways; secure access to new resources for research and research students; and, enables student and staff mobility for collaboration with international partners. The portfolio performs strategic planning and development functions in very close conjunction with Schools to support their success in the diverse activities which exemplify ECU’s Internationalisation.
The Transnational team aims to support and enhance ECU’s global positioning and international capability through centralised management of transnational educational partners and related education programs. This includes partner management, developing related business proposals for further activity, and ensuring the efficient running of projects throughout the entire lifecycle, as well as undertaking ongoing quality assurance of transnational education partners and all programs.
The Role
The Project Adviser, International is responsible for implementing and overseeing an effective customer relationship management framework that supports offshore program development, maps ECU’s relationship with key external partners in the field of Transnational Education, and manages the relationships between internal and external stakeholders associated with ECU’s offshore activities.
The Project Adviser will be tasked with partnering with internal ECU teams to promote and foster new initiatives and to provide support to internal ECU stakeholders who manage key relationships.
Key Criteria
A degree with at least 4 years subsequent experience or equivalent gained from a combination of experience, training or professional accreditation.
High level communication skills;
Proven experience in anticipating and resolving problems and ability to demonstrate a proactive approach in initiating action to deal with challenges when they arise;
Demonstrated understanding of transnational educational partnerships;
Demonstrated experience in project management within strict time constraints; and
Demonstrated attention to detail and the ability to maintain a high level of efficiency and accuracy in a busy and varied role.
Some international travel may be required as part of this role.

Benefits & Remuneration
This full-time, fixed-term position attracts a remuneration of $93,378 to $104,628 per annum plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
