**The Role**

As a mobile Maintenance **Fire Panel Technician,**you will be responsible for completing planned and reactive commercial maintenance requests across multiple key contracts for BGIS.

This role is based in **Newcastle, NSW.**

Due to the security clearance required for this role, you must be an **Australian Citizen.**
- Maintain and service all Fire Systems and Fire Fighting Equipment to AS 1851-2012
- Conduct routine inspection and servicing of Portable Fire systems and equipment
- Installation of Portable Fire systems and equipment
- Assist in the preparation of customer quotations & identifying remedial work
- Liaise directly with the client regarding service work.
- Conduct facility maintenance as requiredCommit to workplace safety & good work practices

**Skills & Experience**
- Strong experience and understanding of AS1851 and AS2118
- Demonstrate experience working with Portable Fire Equipment
- Demonstrate and understand process of installation, repair and testing
- Ability to mentor and train staff
- FPAS accreditation (desirable)
- WHS Construction White card
- Drivers Licence (must be able to drive a manual)Australian Citizenship
