Southern Transport Spares and Repairs is seeking an apprentice or mature age apprentice to join its Workshop team to look after repairs and servicing on our extensive fleet of trucks. Applicants with light vehicle experience are welcome to apply.

**Key responsibilities include; -**
- Maintain, service and repair Kerden Haulage vehicles
- Operate workshop equipment safely
- Prepare vehicles for inspection
- Identify, control and report workplace hazards
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop
- Ensure that all Kerden Haulage vehicles are presented professionally for in-service use
- Liaise with Workshop Supervisors about job status and workshop priorities

**Key requirements include; -**
- Basic computer literacy
- Ability to work unsupervised, show initiative and self-motivation
- Effective communication skills at all levels
- An HR license will be well regarded
