About us

We are a small family run Post Office in the North side of Brisbane, offering full postal service,Lottery, Magazine, stationary cards and giftware. We pride ourselves on being a friendly customer orientated business.
We require someone for Monday and Friday

join our team on a part time or casual basis.

Qualifications & Experience
- Australia Post & Retail experience preferred but not essential
- Lottery sale experience preferred but not essential
- Preferred high attention to detail, computer literate. The successful applicant will be required to undergo a National Police Background Check.

In this role, your key duties will include serving customers, restocking the store, dealing with lotto and all store duties.
- POB mail sorting; inbound & outbound mail processing and carded parcel retrievals
- Restocking shelves; merchandising & stock relays
- Shop opens and closes
- Counter and office balances (including the security of cash)
- General shop upkeep including cleaning
- General Retail Customer Service
- Processing Australia Post Services
- Operating lotto sales
- Using a register and handling cash
- Working in a team environment
- Have good customer service skills.
- Must be trustworthy.
- Have some retail experience.
- A typical day consists of customer service, bank deposit and withdrawal processing.
- shelf re-stocking, maintaining a clean and tidy work environment

Pay: $21.38 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 30 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- Point of Sale (POS) software: 1 year (preferred)
- Working towards sales targets and KPIs: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
