**About the role**
We are seeking an established HSSE Manager to join our team on the METRONET Midland Station project as part of the Midland Junction Alliance.
- As a HSSE Manager, this role will focus on co-ordinating the implementation and maintenance of the project’s safety management program. Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
- Provide advice and assistance to the Project Manager for the development, implementation review and revision of Work Health & Safety Management Plan.
- Report, investigate and implement corrective and/or preventive actions resulting from identification of hazards, near miss incidents and work-related illness/injury.
- Promote and encourage the culture of working safely and setting a positive example for all other personnel.
- Participate in project risk assessments and preparation of risk control documents.
- Ensure regular High Risk Construction Activity inspections/audits are completed, local statutory requirements for Health & Safety are incorporated into the Project Execution Plan.

**About you**
- Tertiary qualification in OHS.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, preferably with stand-up training experience.
- Experience in investigating and reporting safety incidents.
- Working knowledge of risk assessment and audit procedures.
