**Job Overview**

**Location**: Various locations (within service areas)

**Employment Type**: Casual

**Pay**: $33.96 per hour

**Licence/Certification**:Yellow Card or NDIS Worker Screening (preferred) and Driver Licence (required)

**Work Authorisation**:Australia (required)

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform yard maintenance tasks, including mowing, weeding, pruning, edging, and general garden clean-up.
- Remove debris and ensure outdoor areas are safe and accessible for NDIS participants.
- Use and maintain yard equipment responsibly and adhere to safety guidelines.
- Communicate respectfully and effectively with participants, respecting their specific needs and preferences.
- Report any concerns or changes in the yard environment that may impact participant safety.

**Requirements**:

- Experience in yard and garden maintenance, landscaping, or a related field.
- Ability to operate yard maintenance tools and equipment safely.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
- A compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to supporting individuals with varying needs.

**Desirable Qualifications**:

- First Aid and CPR Certification.
- Experience working with NDIS participants or individuals with disabilities is highly regarded.
