**Your New Role**

Our Home Health program delivers in-home support services to our customers to help them live independently, supported, and empowered, within their own homes and communities. We are seeking **Personal Care Workers** living and wanting to work in Dandenong, Keysborough, Mordialloc, Noble Park, Springvale, Moorabbin and surrounding suburbs.

We have opportunities available for experienced **Personal Care Workers** on a Permanent Part-time or Casual basis.

**Please Note: This is not a position within a Residential Aged Care facility.**

**What does your new role look like?**

Performing personal care tasks in line with the clients care plan including but not limited to:

- Assisted daily living duties such as showering, toileting and grooming
- Medication and mobility assistance
- Skin care
- Social support, transportation to appointments, shopping and social outings
- Domestic assistance duties such as cleaning, laundry, feeding and meal preparation
- Building and maintaining strong and effective relationships with clients and their families
- Adhering to health and safety guidelines and policies to keep yourself and our customers safe
- Reporting any issues or changes in the customer’s health and wellbeing through the appropriate channels and protocols

Does this sound like you?
- Completed at minimum a Certificate III in Individual Support/Disability/Community Services or completed 1 year of a Nursing Degree and/or
- 1 year + experience in a similar role
- Flexibility and availability to work rosters between Monday to Friday (daytime hours only)
- A current **Australian** Driver’s License and ownership of a reliable, well presented, comprehensively insured vehicle
- All Australian Unity employees must be fully vaccinated for COVID 19
- INDS_

**Salary**: $30.60 - $31.38 per hour
