- Total Indicative Remuneration: $352,632 - $597,993 p.a. (Pro Rata) MD2 | Part Time, 11.25 h/pw, Until June 2023

As the Cardiology Physician, you will provide comprehensive cardiac care with a specific focus on heart failure services within the community at Noarlunga and Flinders Medical Centre. You will also be responsible for clinical service provision of some inpatient ward work, outpatient clinics, teaching of undergraduates and postgraduates, administrative tasks, research projects and be involved in professional and community service activities. In addition to services in the Southern Adelaide Local Health Network they will provide outreach services to country South Australia and the Northern Territory. High professional standards are expected in line with the current objectives of cardiac services of Flinders Medical Centre and the Southern Adelaide Local Health Network and responsibilities may change with further regionalisation developments.

To be successful in this role, you will need experience in cardiac investigations, clinical general cardiology, heart failure and cardiac transplantation medicine, comprehensive understanding of the role of a Cardiology Physician in a Teaching Hospital environment, clinical skills to enable work in General Cardiology, Heart Failure and Cardiac Transplantation Medicine, Coronary Care and General Medicine expected and the ability to liaise in a consultative manner.
