**About the Role**:
We are looking for an **experienced Heavy Container Forklift Operator** to join our team on a permanent basis.

We hope you also have:

- Experience in container fork operations within a high volume fast-paced environment
- Any exposure in handling & stacking Shipping or Rail containers would be highly preferred.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- A positive attitude and approachable manner
- Have a proactive approach to continuous improvement

This is a critical role within the warehouse, ensuring not only the safe movement of containers which are stacked up to 4 high, but via the most efficient means through our industry leading Warehouse Management System. There are two sealed yards, both have covered and uncovered areas and work at high-capacity levels. This is a fast-paced environment that requires a steady, safe, and methodical decision maker.

Some of what you will be doing:

- Working closely with the warehouse manager and schedulers to ensure trucks are loaded and unloaded within acceptable timeframes.
- Safely drive and operate equipment adhering to all safety requirements, ensuring your safety and the safety of others is always front of mind
- Efficiently and effectively allocate containers to specific locations and load/unload accordingly using the Warehouse Management System
- Ensure effective and timely communication to staff for smooth movement and safe operations
