**About the School**:
Our client is a leading independent girls' school located in the heart of Sydney. Their mission is to empower young women to strive for excellence, embrace diversity, and make a positive impact on the world.

**Position Overview**:
As a Psychology Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire students to explore the complexities of the human mind and behavior. You'll play a vital role in fostering critical thinking skills and promoting a deeper understanding of psychology concepts.

**The Role**
- Temporary Part Time, 0.44FTE (15 periods a fortnight)
- ASAP Start until end of Term 4, 2024, with potential to extend and go permanent

**Responsibilities**:

- **Curriculum Delivery**: Plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons in psychology that cater to diverse learning needs and styles.
- **Student Engagement**: Create a stimulating learning environment that encourages active participation and fosters a passion for psychology among students.
- **Practical Application**: Incorporate practical activities, experiments, and real-world examples to enhance students' understanding of psychological theories and concepts.
- **Assessment and Feedback**: Assess student progress through various assessment methods and provide constructive feedback to support their learning and growth.
- **Professional Development**: Stay informed about the latest developments in psychology education and participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching skills and expertise.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Psychology or Education (with a major in Psychology).
- Be registered with NESA and hold a current working with children check
- Strong knowledge of psychology theories, research methods, and ethical principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
