Job Description Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Operations Supervisor to join Service Stream.
About the Role

The Supervisor is responsible for managing a team of Crew Leaders and Field Staff in the delivery of the complete project scope of work in a manner that is safe, on-time, on-budget and to the agreed standard of quality and client satisfaction.

The teams in which the Supervisor manages may be directly employed, sub-contracted resources or a combination of both. The teams may also be working on single sites or across multiple sites depending on the number and scale of each project.

Key responsibilities

Planning and Pre-Construction Activities.
- Conduct contract review and assist in the compilation of contract administration
- Assist in the preparation of tenders, budget and schedule as required
- Conduct constructability review to ensure best overall solution from a quality, cost, ongoing maintenance and safety perspective for Client and Service Stream
- Obtain relevant permits to enable work to commence and progress continuously _(that are within the remit of the role)_
- Prepare statutory bodies/authority documentation _(that are within the remit of the role)_
- Assist in the development of project management plans _(where required)_
- Assist in the development of HSEQ Management plans _(where required)_
- Assist in the development of all compliance documentation (ITP, checklist, SWMS, JSEA, etc.) _(where required)_
- Coordinate project with principal contractors
- Compile Scopes of work for subcontract agreements for procuring suppliers/subcontractors _(where required)_

Construction Activities
- Ensure that HSEQ Management Plan is implemented in the field
- Conduct toolbox meeting(s) with team
- Assist to procure and subsequently co-ordinate resources and materials
- Manage subcontractors and internal field crews
- Coordinate all construction activities to budget and schedule
- Problem solving construction issues as required
