The Gold Coast Engineering team is responsible for the technology that is the powerhouse for Consumer and Business Banking Digital Technology.

**How will I help?**

A results-driven Quality Assurance Engineer to analyse, troubleshoot, optimize and deliver

quality digital products for our clients.

Core Responsibilities in the role will include:

- While primarily responsible for Quality Assurance of the shippable product, within the
- planning, Estimation, Daily Stand ups and retrospectives) to ensure that every user story
- to meet Definition of Done (DOD).
- Raise any defects found during test and escalate in accordance with set procedures to
- ensure resolution of issues within appropriate timeframes to minimise impact on project
- quality and schedule
- Manage test infrastructure and execution of automated tests, and continuously maintain
- automated test cases
- Developing automated test scripts and frameworks for improve web and mobile app performance.
- Documentation and knowledge sharing across teams
- Identify the Automatable and non-automatable Sprint/Release test scope
- Automation and manual validation\testing of banking apps on iOS and Android apps
- Functional and non-functional testing of the digital product
- Accessibility Testing of digital products
- Provide technical guidance/coaching/mentoring to other engineers
- Contribute to growing the engineering community through our grad and intern programs
- Contribute and be an advocate to the wider development and engineering community through participation in development guilds for knowledge sharing and learning

**What do I need?**

Essential Skills:

- Minimum 5 years Automation and functional testing experience
- Experience in API testing and use of tools like POSTMAN, Charles and BURP
- Web app automation using Selenium
- Knowledge in one of the languages - Java/Kotlin
- BDD Test Approach and Scripting using Cucumber
- Working experience of CI/CD using Bamboo, Jenkins or any equivalent tool
- Code management tool like Git or any equivalent tool
- Strong understanding of Scrum and Agile frameworks
- Experience in test management tools such as JIRA, X-Ray
- Accessibility testing using JAWS for Web and Voice over for mobile devices
- Experience in Test Cases Traceability with Requirements (using JIRA, X-Ray)

Nice to have:

- Experience working with Agile methodology using tools such as JIRA, Bitbucket, Confluence etc.
- Understanding of test-driven development with frameworks like Jest
- Mobile app automation using Appium / Web automation using Selenium
- Ability to work with a variety of databases and coding programs, such as, Java, HTML, as well as XML and JSON feeds.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are a MUST.
- Previous experience in the banking sector is an advantage
- Proven experience writing test plans, test strategies, test cases, test reporting
- Self-motivated and ability to work with the business

- Proactive and assume responsibility
