**MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES**:
The two primary responsibilities of the Front of House Supervisor is to firstly provide our customers with an excellent dining experience comprised of great food, coffee, beverages, service and atmosphere. The goal of this experience is to influence our guests want to come back time and time again. Alongside this, providing and excellent place of work for the entire team so that all are focused on achieving this exceptional customer experience, the business mission and objectives.

In addition to the above your main duties and responsibilities will include:

- Assist in coordinating and oversee the day-to-day operations at LAURUS
- Provide excellent leadership to the team
- Provide excellent customer service to guests
- Hold excellent product knowledge about each item for sale in the venue
- Have a full working knowledge of all front of house systems and processes in the venue
- Have a full working knowledge of all equipment within the venue, excluding kitchen equipment
- Ensure professional and efficient communication with all team members and guests
- Ensure the highest levels of food and workplace safety are adhered to
- Maintain the Safety Program including first aid kit and injury register
- Assist with ordering and stock control for beverage as directed by the venue manager
- Assist with rostering and control of wage costs
- Ensure all in the team are clearly focused on maximizing sales at every opportunity
- Provide strong communication to the front of house team for cleaning, daily service, events and functions
- Provide training for all front of house staff to ensure compliance and quality at every level
- Maintain the security of the business and adhere to the opening and closing procedures
- Maximise sales at all opportunities
- Maintain and oversee a section of tables and guests in the venue
- Participate with the daily, weekly and monthly cleaning tasks as directed by your supervisor or manager
- Participate in the daily setup and pack down procedures in an efficient and effective manner

**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**

**Qualifications**:

- RSA
- Formal wine and beverage training

**Experience**:

- Minimum of two years of industry experience
- Leadership

**Skills & Personal Attributes**:

- High level of restaurant service skills

- Excellent understanding of beverages

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 30-38 per week

**Salary**: $53,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
