Frontier Flooring is a leading supplier to a National fit-out company, specialising in the supply and installation of Commercial Floor Coverings. We are currently seeking a Floor Finisher to join our growing team. This is an exceptional opportunity to gain hands-on experience and learn from experienced professionals.
**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Prepare and finish various types of flooring, including hardwood, laminate, and vinyl.
- Measure and cut underlay
- Install age trims in doorways and where there is change in floor level
- Sand, stain, and seal floors to achieve the desired finish.
- Repair and refurbish existing floors to restore them to their original condition.
- Operate finishing equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all work meets company quality standards and client specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Follow all health and safety regulations and procedures.
**Requirements**:
- Experience as a Floor Finisher for at least 3 years.
- Strong knowledge of different finishing techniques and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret floor plans and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Good physical condition and ability to perform manual labour.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation.
