**About the Role**:

You will be responsible for developing and implementing programs to benefit Indigenous Peoples in the regional areas. This will involve coordinating engagement across government to secure funding for the project, developing and implementing an Indigenous employment strategy, and coordinating Indigenous business engagement and procurement. You will also manage the implementation of education programs and training support.
- A high level of cultural competency, including a demonstrated understanding of the issues affecting Indigenous Australians and a high-level ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with Indigenous people.
- Personal drive and the ability to adapt to changing priorities to deliver outcomes under pressure, and exercise sound judgement in strategically handling complex and sensitive work.
- The ability to undertake regular travel between Adelaide and regional areas.
- The demonstrated ability to provide sound advice and prepare written reports and briefings.

**Qualifications**:

- A tertiary qualification in business, economic or legal studies, or equivalent relevant experience is required.

**Eligibility**:

- This position requires a Baseline security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
- Prior experience working within the government framework.
- A valid Australian driver’s license.
