The Housing Coordinator role is vital for the smooth operation of mecwacare's Affordable Housing Services. In this position, you'll be responsible for delivering courteous administrative and customer focused support to the Affordable Housing Department. This entails serving as the main contact for tenants, assisting with various tenancy matters, and offering guidance on housing options. Additionally, you'll manage paperwork, handle tenant agreements, and maintain meticulous records to uphold operational efficiency.

**What you bring**:

- Working knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act
- Experience in tenancy management ie sign ups, rent arrears, inspections.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills including experience liaising with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Well-developed organisational skills and demonstrated ability to manage conflicting priorities
- Well-developed problem solving and influencing skills
- Ability to recommend strategies to improve service delivery
- Ability to work effectively with mínimal direct supervision
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel and Outlook as well as fast and accurate typing and data entry skills.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality in all matters.
- Current Victorian Driver’s License

**Desirable**:

- Formal qualifications relevant to the administrative field (e.g. Certificate in Business Administration or equivalent) Management, Health or related discipline
- Experience in Affordable (social) Housing.
