**Client/role**:
A well-known NSW government body is seeking a Communication and Engagement Specialist to join their C&E Team.

The Specialist will provide support to the Communication and Engagement Manager, Precincts, and working closely with the Director of Communication and Engagement, as well as the broader Precincts team, the Specialist will play a crucial role in the organization.

**Duties**:

- Providing strategic communications and engagement support for the ongoing development of the projects.
- Leading the implementation of the Strategic Communications Plan and providing quarterly reports.
- Creating communications collateral for various projects within the precinct.
- Facilitating discussions and forums with internal stakeholders, community members, and influential external partners.
- Collaborating with the media team to identify positive media opportunities and support the implementation of media events.
- Assisting with Parliamentary Services matters such as House Folder Notes, Questions on Notice, Ministerial Correspondence, and Budget Estimates.

**As a Communication and Engagement Specialist, you will be involved in several projects, including**:

- Project 1 (Barangaroo):_
- Leading strategic communications and engagement efforts for the project, collaborating closely with the construction contractor to communicate upcoming works and their impacts.
- Managing hoarding design and engaging key stakeholders in the process.
- Overseeing filming and photography activities related to the project.
- Project 2 (Barangaroo):_
- Developing and implementing a comprehensive communication and engagement plan to support the release of the winning design and the State Significant Development Application process.
- Coordinating the preparation of all communication collateral, primarily through digital channels.
- Sustainability:_
- Reviewing the communication approach on sustainability in Barangaroo and proposing improvements to stakeholder engagement.
