Position: Full time Spatial Science Technician

Location: Byron Bay, NSW

**Responsibilities**:
1. Conduct thorough on-site surveys to assess in situ forest structure.

2. Utilize advanced surveying equipment and techniques to gather accurate and comprehensive data for environmental projects.

3. Work closely with managers, surveyors, and software engineers to ensure that survey data aligns with project requirements and objectives.

4. Identify potential challenges and provide solutions to ensure the successful execution of environmental projects.

5. Collect, record and evaluate spatial information and prepare databases, maps, charts and plans.

6. Performs routine computations and plotting preliminary data.

7. Inspecting work and materials for compliance with specifications, regulations and standards

**Requirements**:

- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Surveying, Spatial Technician or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years experience in architectural/environmental surveying.
- Proficiency in 3D surveying tools and software.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
