In partnership with the Australia Defence Force, we are seeking a **Seams Person/Store Service Attendant** to join our National Clothing Store Services, with the role based out at **RAAF** Williams **defence base in **Laverton**, located in the Western suburbs of Melbourne.

Reporting to the Site Leader, you will be an essential member of our Clothing Store team working along customer services, stores and tailoring professionals that support Ventia’s Defence National Clothing Store Services contract.

Additional on the job training will be provided, where required.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Maintenance of manual customer order records in relation to sewing/medal mounting tasks
- Understanding of inventory management processes
- Measure and fit customers for clothing items under supervision
- Perform seams person duties of sewing of rank, insignia and badges
- Handle cash and reconcile cash transactions under supervision
- Maintain customer order records in relation to seams person services

**About You**:

- Experience in measuring and fitting clothing items
- Experience in altering clothing items
- Experience in clothing store operations
- Experience in scheduling workloads and meeting production deadlines
- Exceptional customer service

You must be an Australian Citizen and have the ability to maintain a Defence clearance in order to be eligible for these positions, as well as be able to pass an Australian Federal Police Check and Medical Pre-Employment Checks as required by the contract.
