**About the opportunity**

As our **Retail Postage Sorter**, you’ll play an important part in keeping millions of Australians connected. As you’d expect, plenty of mail comes through our Post Offices and delivery facilities every day - and our mail sorting teams make sure every delivery gets where it needs to.

**Role Details**
- Extensive, supportive (paid) training on commencement, Monday - Friday, 3 hour shifts daily for up to 12 weeks
- This role is an “**on call**” casual position after training, shifts will fall across Monday - Friday, between **5 am - 5 pm**:

- You will be rostered to work at Nambour, Maroochydore, Noosa Civic, Noosa Heads, Sunshine Plaza, Sunshine Coast Bus Hub & Tewantin (you must be comfortable to travel to all of these locations)

**You’ll be**:

- Manually sorting all mail arriving at the workplace
- Sorting and distributing mail into relevant PO Boxes
- Assisting and/or performing administrative duties such as stocktaking and record maintenance

**About you**

You’re friendly, enthusiastic and reliable and you love the balance of working in a team environment and autonomously. You’re motivated by the opportunity to help make a difference to your community. You'll also need to:

- Call upon your memory and hand-eye coordination while sorting
- Be fit to lift up to 16kgs of mail regularly and stand for your shift
