**About the role**:

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you as a permanent Cyber Security Project Officer

As a permanent Cyber Security Project Officer, you will play a vital role in strengthening our nation’s cyber capabilities in state. Your main responsibility will be to contribute to the development and execution of high-level strategies, policies, and projects that align with the Government’s agenda and departmental outcomes.

Your expertise will play a pivotal role in shaping forward-looking plans that identify opportunities and foster cross-government collaboration to support economic growth.

**Key Selection Criteria**:

- Strong knowledge of the Cyber Security Industry and Critical Technologies sectors.
- Communicate clearly, concisely, and effectively with people at all levels including proven ability to advise, consult, liaise and influence, and excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Strong communicator with high level written communication skills, including the ability to develop strategic documents for Cabinet and Parliamentary processes.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop strong relationships within the Cyber Security Industry and Critical Technologies sectors.

**Remuneration**:
Competitive salary (ASO6 $95,588 min - $101,109 max pa) plus superannuation

**Qualifications**:
Project management qualifications and experience preferred.

Previous experience working in the Public Sector is desirable.

- Satisfactory Department of Human Services Criminal History Check or National Police Check (NPC) required prior to employment.
