**Overview**

The Distribution Officer is responsible for undertaking distribution activities at a specific Health Service, these positions are located at Berri Hospital. This will involve the distribution and supply of goods, inventory, mail, linen and other specialist items for the designated Health Service. The Distribution Officers will perform one of/or a combination of the following activities on a rotational basis as directed to meet operational requirements:

- the receipt, storage and distribution of goods at the Health Service;
- the receipt and delivery of inventory to imprests and the creation of replenishment orders;
- the receipt, distribution and supply of linen, garments and other specialised items to linen imprests;
- receiving sorting and distributing incoming mail items as well as collecting, processing and dispatching
outgoing mail items; and
- providing an internal courier service to collect and deliver mail items across the Health Service
